Trella Hemmerly – 1979-02-14

Wednesday February 14th 1979
Only got up to 21 degrees but we didn’t wrap arrangements except for the first delivery.
Showroom jammed all day but we had plenty to cell. WDIF carried their interview with me on all news broadcasts.
Clara brought in a chocolate cake for all of us.
Send out for 321 in pizzas for the gang $30! That’s $2 a person.
Several people in with indexing, etc, but too busy to talk with them.
By 5:30 my heels were really sore.
Lillian drove my car up and I took Mary’s back to her, then took Lillian home. She started working at Hemmerly’s 7 years ago at Valentine’s Day.
Ray and I would have been married 26 years today.

Howard called and said drifted and I shouldn’t come home so took chicken to Mary’s for supper. Worked on Prospect indexing all evening. Slept in bedroom Mary has just fixed up.
