Slept until 10:15. Kass called while I was having breakfast. Had made a wedding appointment for me for 10:30 but didn’t tell me. It was Mrs. Moore with her last daughter.
Orders for history starting to come in on the order blanks enclosed with bank statements.
Had pizza with Dave, Chris and Faye Garverick- she’s looking rested now.
At 3 Carroll and I drove to 7499 Wildcat Pike to visit Marie English. She had called me saying she would like her furniture to go to a museum and was considering the Marion County Historical Society. Her house is a treasure. Two of the rooms must look the same as they did in 1890. Hundreds of knick knacks, cut glass, hand-painted China, gorgeous Victorian furniture. But Marie is the star of it all. She was without heat for 10 days during and after the blizzard. Her stories of bank robberies when she was president of Campbell National Bank. Late for Wednesday night dinner. Then to Hall-Beck and gave BBB info for MCHS Bulletin.
