Trella Hemmerly – 1935-01-10

Wally met me this noon and we went to Morehouse.
Got lovely silk peacock blue for a 57¢ a yard. Snatched a hamburger and got to work in time.
I made some mistakes on Mater for eight last week and JL bald bill out about them so we had a pretty bad day. Only Mr. Miller came in and said it was the system not me.
Started a steaming on my face for blacks. All but it does some good. Wally callled – sweet.

Up at 10 and to church. Communion service. After dinner went after BB.
On our way taking Walt’s dirty clothes saw Mrs. Haldeman went out to Rosinas. BB and I had quite a talk about our to-bes. I said not.

Mother had brains and eggs for supper for us. Then to BY after discussing socialism. Psychology and love.

Dale Gorman talked on what we know about God.

Stopped at Isaly’s. Told Mary about some shows and so to bed.

Up at 6:00 AM to meet B. Shelton. Late because he went after Mr. Nichols. Remembered I forgot my glasses while waiting my eyes hurt some this evening.
The same old grind entering freight bills checking rates writing up claims filing M.J. bills.
Tired this evening. Wall will be down after while. Guess I’ll sleep until 8:00.
Alarm woke me at 8:00. Had a sane evening with Wally. Sweet. 10:30 PM

Have to work tomorrow and so I didn’t go home tonight.
Wally is coming down in about 1/2 hour. Helen Hecht came down this morning for some milk for a kitten. When I took it up she gave me some pills for menstrual – “Seeqit” But I didn’t need and today quit (sic) surprising.
Express bills sure are a mess. Figured value charges wrong & what a time to correct them. Wally down. Woe is me. He isn’t good for me.
