Saturday April 19th
Mrs. Neva Jones here at 8 to finish cleaning. Wants me to get someone else as her knees hurt. She’s 78! Picked up in woods with Howard for half hour. Don Shuster called, Agnes’ brother in hospital so won’t be able to come to stay all night and go to Fanny & Floy’s reception tomorrow. Not busy at shop so after wedding appointments went out with Lynn O’Dowd to finished shooting Old Village Marion. State & Main streets. To Neva and Jim’s[Harris] to see Glenn and Mildred Patton. Everyone talking at once instead of listening to Glenn and Mildred. Mary Jordan had quite a tale of Marilee being visited in hospital by parole officer from Florida to apprehend her for parole violation. Confused with Mary Lee Augenstein who is in Marysville Reformatory. Call Mary at Walt’s in Mesa Arizona 100 degrees out there today. Our 73 was first it’s been above 70 since last October 22nd

Thursday April 17th gorgeous weather 65 degrees
Called Tecumseh trying to find Dave Chesser to get him out to install bay windows. Worked in a day “left the dust in different places” but did find some white elephants for Federated Clubs bazaar. Took them in about 5 & mailed letters to Star & WMRN about Eber Baker’s 200th birthday.

Tuesday April 15th
Carroll’s group arrived before I got there at 7:15 and when I went up he was lighting candles. Board meeting was shunted to a table in Big Red’s workroom. Found later it was not his architectural class as he told me but the Lioness meeting. He handed over the $25 check they gave him for Historical Society. I couldn’t outstay him and looked him in when he left the door open as I left. This proves that he still has a key.

Got to Big Red Quick Print (Bowen house) at 7:15 but Carroll and his class there ahead of me. So he still has a key even though he gave me his last Friday. I found a pin in the parking area so went up to see if it belonged to one of the women. Carroll was lighting candles- another thing the letter asked him not to do. Board had to meet among the printing paraphernalia downstairs.
