Monday November 22nd 70° and sunny
Dave and I worked outdoors most of day. He dug Iris pseudacorus out of pool. It was taking over. And planted most of it down by pond. Used push mower to mow around pond and “de-gas” it for winter storage (I didn’t get all). Used leaf blower vacuum to clean up leaves across Road. Picked up stones and pieces pieces of cement block along road by shack. Then policed the whole quarter mile of roadway. 2 (tractor) trailer loads. Told Dave seemed to me he was trying to make up for work he didn’t do while he lived here! I packed while we worked. Dave spent more time in attic. Says I have a lot of treasures. Picked Mary up and we had dinner together at Perkins. They headed for Columbus to spend night and catch 6 a.m. to San Diego. Miss them!

Sunday November 21st
With Mary we drove to Urbana for breakfast brunch with Sarah & Dave Sapp. Confusing to have three Davids in the room. Luscious food. I took sales document for Hemmerly’s Flowers and Gifts and David and I signed it. Will mail to Kathi for her signature before they go to La Jolla California Monday for the evaluation of Bob at Scripps institute. Home about 7. Went through treasure in 229 tool chest box. Dave wanted to see Uncle Wills’ 1896 bicycle trip from Seattle Washington to Marysville Ohio.

Do you want to to see Palace Theater? Harding musical “Music Man” playing. So Ned Neutzel gave us a tour but we didn’t stay for musical.

Thursday November 18th – Dave and Johanna’s visit.
Royce cleaning. So much drywall dust everywhere. Scott and Freddy installed arch window and cleaned up inside. Finished siding east side around and above window. Dave & Johanna arrived by rented car about 7 PM. Mary here to welcome them. I had pot roast dinner ready. Dave had last payment on his $10,000 loan for down payment of his house last December $750. So tall and handsome and friendly and appreciative. Johanna his perfect mate. Scott took spindles home to treat, wash and stain.
