Monday May 30 1932
B.Y. Picnic at Hepburn. Rowed, played ball & O.S.U. won track meet. Impromptu play around camp fire. Rode with Jim R. He got us Root Beers.

Sunday May 29 1932
Went to S.S. at Forrest. Not very sociable. Played barn tennis & fooled around at Floy’s in P.M. Got home just late enough to not go to B.Y.

Saturday May 28 1932
Mary stayed till we went to Forest in P.M. Didn’t do much in morning or after we got there. Ate our supper in car.

Friday May 27 1932
Mary, Bernard & Bob H. came down in the evening. Played croquet for a little while. Then cards. Bob & I got the lunch. He made cocoa out of water & the others couldn’t imagine why we laughed at it. It was pretty good. Then didn’t do much but Mary was surprised at me Draw notre conclusions. They didn’t go home till 12 couldn’t stay all night.

Thursday May 26 1932
Helen & I got up about 10:30. Too tired to have much life. Had some dinner as yesterday. Was eating jello in p.j.’s on front porch when her mother & father came home. She brought me home just in time to go on the Int. B.Y. picnic with Mary, Mom & Dad. Had fair time eating suckers, hot dogs, marshmallows & playing ball.

Wednesday May 25 1932
Nita & Mary, the ambitious rascals got Helen & I up at 9:30. We pranced around in the back yard saying “I left my wife & 49 children in a [illegible], etc. Stayed with Helen for Dinner & then we four went to “Class Day”. Helen & I went to Col. to a fellowship supper with Mickey, Mable W., Dale G. & Harry W. Play “The Creation” sung. Nearly melted but it was good. Got home at 1:00

Tuesday May 24 1932
Washed my hair and got it waved in A.M. Rested after dinner & started getting ready for prom about 6:15. Jessie sent down some swell smelling powder. I didn’t look bad at all. Went after Mary & got to Star auditorium about 8:45. Cal Crimms orchestra good but he was a scream. Mary went home with Dick, Helen, Nita. She & I had a swell time with phone until 3:30. Got home about 12:30.

Monday May 23 1932
Went on G.A.A. picnic at Garfield Park from Mary’s. Got Gradecards in P.M. Biggest moment seeing A in Chemistry exam. Got our annuals. Had about 25 autographs when I left. I have liked being a Jr. so much & have made so many friends. I only hope my Sr. year will be as successful.

Sunday May 22 1932
S.S. Took a picture of the graduates from Trinity. We went to Berl’s after dinner. Played ball with those kids. Was about 20 min. Late to B.Y. Went to communion Sermon with Mary. Had to sit on steps in balcony. Now I know how to act next year. Stayed all night at Mary’s.

Saturday May 21 1932
Went to our favorite picnic spot north of Waldo. Mary B. too. Violets the most beautiful long stemmed purple things. And so plentiful. We brought quit [sic] a few plants home. Mary stayed all night avec moi.
