Tuesday September 27th 1932
More attention first period. Forgot about Guild meeting and had to telephone mother to fix something. My dress is getting made. Pretty good Guild meeting. I was so tired I had to keep going to keep going. Drew for “Black-eyed Susan” sisters.

Monday September 26th 1932
Rained again so we have no wiener roast again. Had lots of fun first period. I never was anybody before. Worked 8th period on the Herald too. Spent an hour buying me a green wool dress to make. Colleen came over to see about Guild program books. Studied Herald.

Sunday September 25th 1932
Sunday school and Sunday dinner here with Aunt Sylvia’s. Went to Gilmore’s with Mary Burtch and Helen to see Dick’s pictures. One was supposed to look like me. At Mary’s for supper. Came home after B.Y. to study

Saturday September 24th 1932
Went to Springs for groceries with Helen and then came home. Gave her a bouquet. Mother, Mary and I went up town in pm. Got Mary a dress and probably would have gotten one if it hadn’t been for my getting sick. Aunt Sylvia and Perry and Wilda came about 5. We went up town in evening and I got a green hat. Had popcorn and apples.

Thursday September 22nd 1932
Made my assignments. Took nearly all period. We kids walked around up town a while and then I came home. Took library books up at 5:30 and got Daddy. Saw Bob Campbell, Louis Mahla and Francis Roush and they all spoke. Would they have last Monday?

Wednesday September 21st 1932
I went to see Miss Jacoby about working in library and she said come in 4th period. she gave me my choice of books and I took American short stories. More rain. Helen, Mary and I chased around Uptown after I had spent 8th period and after school with Miss Foreman. Got my Duds from Helen. Worked on Herald assignments after supper.

Tuesday September 20th 1932
Wore my blue print. When Louise Woolum came to 1st period study hall and said Miss Foreman wanted to see me I knew it wouldn’t be long. They have decided to have three editors. One for each class publishing a paper every 3rd week.
Wiener roast for B.Y. was postponed. Rain. And Ivan was going. So Mary Burtch and I went to Helen’s for supper and did ditties then sewed, fixed hair, tried on clothes etc.

Monday September 19th 1932
School! Too hot almost to study after Saturday cool spell. I’m getting on to shorthand. G.R. cabinet meeting after school. Got Grant Mouser’s magazine order. For me $1.0. B.Y. cabinet meeting in evening. All I did was refuse to do things. Bernard took me home. Hurrah.

Sunday September 18th 1932
After church went home with Mary. Helen came down and we parked up town for a while and then Mary got her car and we rode. Mary led B.Y.. Took a walk afterwards and then retired.
