Shirley cleaning A.M. – at noon whiile in bath Carl Rieger & his 2 Lancaster cousins popped in. (not in bathroom!) He’ll be back next week. Kent & I made some movies after finishing busy days work.

Took David with me to look at Bell & Howell Sound Movie 8 outfit at Pennys. Bought movie camera – cassette recorder & sound projector $425+tax! – Rain again – another 2″

In at 12:30 to do Zimmerman [shorthand] To Hutchman’s to see roses. – Lewis [shorthand] at 7:30. Stopped by Martha’s (Smith).

7 weddings like a charm. Maggie took one to Salem in at 2″ downpour. I serviced 2 at 7:30 & Isabelle. To Men’s Garden Club Rose Show – Too exhausted to look.

David repaired steps by greenhouse. Bought Motorola AM & FM clock readio $35.00 at Freeman’s. Mother – Mary & Rocky, Karen & David out for beef stroganoff.

Wednesday, June 10, 1970
Wrote San Francisco Hotel in Mexico City & Motel Acapulco in Acapulco for reservations. Bought 3 pcs blyue luggage at Jump’s $53. Got 6-14-6 fertilizer & peat moss at Landmark.

Got smallpox vaccination & typhoid shot at Axthelm’s office. Sis off to take care of Rex – home from hospital yesterday – with Karen to Altrusa.
