Monday July 31st 1933
Neva and us messed around this morning and we three and Orley started for Bowling Green after an ice cream dinner. The college is much smaller than I had imagined. Talked to a couple of teachers. My head sure ached when I got home.

Sunday July 30th 1933
Got Walt after dinner and took a drive to the south east. Found a hill where “I was a stone” and Walt and I got lost in a woods good for nature study. After B.Y. Mary asked Bernard Brooks to come up here and then we all went to her house and I stayed all night.

Wednesday July 26th 1933
Lazy till about 11:15. Didn’t feel so hot. Called Walt to see how he was and asked him down but he couldn’t come. I think he acted funny. Louis must have got home today. He passed. Baked a chocolate cake. Read the evening away 9:00.

Tuesday July 25th 1933
Boy Scout Camp Owens.
Walt called from camp this morning. I took his mother and father out this evening and Walt has a bad cut on his leg. Hobbles around on crutches. He got swimming badge and gave me one and I brought him here for a little while. His leg sure must hurt.
