Monday November 15th 47 degrees – 27 degrees
Only Scott working. Hauled aluminum siding away. Put lattice around base of deck and set steps. I cleaned kitchen of white dust. Cloth dust mop broom sweeper. Wrote to Bob Farrell telling him about my letter to Furman and Warren Harding visit. Richard Carey came out with concerns about opposition to approving Jane’s contract at board meeting tomorrow. I called Don Alspach to suggest he propose a raise for Jane.
Before I could tell him why I was calling he said he had been going to call me or Richard and suggests a 10% raise for her ($2,500) which made me so glad. David sent email saying Lou Motzer (neighbor ever since they moved to Coffey Street in 1970) had died of a heart attack.
