Monday September 22nd
Retyped MCHS newsletter that I wrote yesterday. Helen Kaufman in with yearbook- OK’d it and she took to Big Red. Typed letter for membership campaign got all to Big Red.
Cheryl in to tell me Dave is back living at her house. Was picked up for drunk driving Tuesday. Spent weekend in jail and can’t drive. Must take counseling. So no place to go.
Jerry in van hit by guy at Prospect & Center who went straight from far left lane that is for left turn only. Only a scratch on truck but guy had no insurance so he was cited. Too bad.

Sunday September 21st
Hot- 16 Turtles on pipe into pond.
Wanted to go on Tour of Homes and Gardens in Morrow County. Willard Durfey’s included. But no one to go with. Wrote newsletter for MCHS.
Watched John Anderson and Ronald Reagan debate- President Carter wouldn’t show- said Anderson was not really a candidate.

Saturday September 20th 87° high.
Baldauf wedding at Immanuel Lutheran and Hooper wedding at First Presbyterian. Each over $400.
Hooper’s at church a.m. as I was setting up- all greenery decorations- nine pieces- serviced both at 6:30. At each church three times. Terry late to help me move the arrangements to KFC hall for Hooper’s and I was exhausted. But brought Jerry to take down aisle candelabra in both churches.
Called June Uhle and Dottie Morris. Both delighted that I’m coming to visit. Found that Betty Morris Moore’s daughter lives near Hartford.

Thursday September 18th
Home all day. Set out boxwood that I raised from cuttings along stone steps by Hawthorn tree. Weeded and got into poison ivy again.

Tuesday September 16th
Permanent at Head Shop- only $15 to make up for the one that didn’t take in June.
Del Goff called a.m. arrived at shop at 1:30 with Jeanne and his brother Drell and wife Adelaide from Orlando Florida. Went to visit mother and then came out here. They left at 5.
Picked Erma Campbell up at 6:45 to have budget committee meeting before Board meeting at Bowen house. Adopted $3,600 budget. Named committee chairmen.

Monday September 15th
To Camera Club. Appointed secretary-treasurer to fill Paula Dean’s term. She moved. Barry Baker eating at Hardee’s when I stopped for a hamburger before meeting. He’s sure he’ll be laid off at Gen Tel by December. He gave good mini program on filters. Kodak show on Holland. The world’s flower gardens. Gorgeous Keukenhof shots.

Sunday September 14th
2:30 wedding at Caledonia. Then Howard and I picked mother up and took ride through Kildeer and to Millcreek Orchards.
