Sunday March 28th
Mary out for pizza that I baked- not very good.
Found error in income tax Diane had entered deduction twice on Bordeaux rent have to take it back to be corrected.

Saturday March 27th
Tried to install SanDisk to load digital pics – no go.
To HH accessioned some of Warren Sawyer collection from Craig Schermer- good stuff. Marge McGrew in after she and mother and Aunt were taken into First Families of Marion County (Marion Area Genealogical Society)- so excited and appreciative of my help. Her mother bought four more DBY books including a hardbound for Marge.
Richard Carey in at 4:00 and talked until 4:45. Picked up food at Wendy’s & to Mary’s to eat- watched Alexander Woolley and Betty Davis in “Man Who Came to Dinner”.

Friday March 25th
Supper at “Something Good” with two Mary’s after Mary and I picked up our income tax report from Diane Mault I get about $4,000 back because capital gains on trust fund were down.

Thursday March 25th
Dave and Kathy Hempstead over Kathy said she didn’t see Chessie the whole time I was gone but he ate the food gave her $40. Dave says new window should be in next week. To MGH for x-ray of knee hurts badly- grocery shopped.

Wednesday March 24th
Sent introduction to DBY columns to Marion online.com
Caught up on mail and newspapers Chessie won’t let me out of his sight- paid bills

Tuesday March 23rd
Lazy morning stopped to shop on way to airport- too expensive for me. Mary got a window-seat 3 hour 10 minutes in the air. Arrived Columbus at 7:30. Shuttle bus to pick up car- $54 fee. Home by 9:15. David called before I had a chance to call him- read some papers.

Monday March 22nd
Kathi doing income tax. Mary and I packing and watching TV- nice to just be at Kathy’s and enjoy their hospitality.

Sunday March 21st
Kathi and Mary to church and Bob and I joined them at Willows Country Club for breakfast- nice view- a new Sun City development. Packed lunch and K- M and I started for Red Rock Canyon similar to Valley of Flame [sic] but with rock climbers hanging on sheer cliffs. Lunch in car- home via route 15a into Las Vegas and down the Strip- took almost an hour to drive it- so much traffic- but this was our only view of all of the fantastic reproductions of Paris- Egypt- New York- Italy.

Saturday March 20th
“Did” model homes in D.R. Norton (Sands) development and Sun City Anthem- gorgeous decorating glitzy! The[sic] Kathi, Mary and I headed for Boulder City and Hoover Dam. Found my 1949 Boulder City in middle of new development and even the park where Walt & I and Ray, Florence and Sandy Romine waited out the heat to cross the Mojave desert-.a new Visitor Center and parking garage at Hoover dam almost inaccessible because of traffic. Drove across dam into Arizona- bought a viewer and disc for Heritage Hall a modern stereoscope. Dinner at the Thunderbird- Terrible service and thunder is right- so much noise you couldn’t hear.

Friday March 19th
Kathi, Mary and I spent all day exploring the North Shore Drive of Lake Mead ending up in Valley of Fire State Park- gorgeous rock scenery. Also visited Lake Las Vegas- a millionaire development east of Henderson. Drove down to Lake Mead in several places
