Tuesday June 27th 1933
It isn’t so hard as I thought to get up at 6:30. But those dips look chilly. Routine. Mary and I had a talk about Bob and Walt and Doris. Only got to see Walt for about a minute. Our stunt & song went over good at the campfire.

Sunday June 25th 1933
Bible School demonstration. Went down to fix it in afternoon it sure rained. I turned Walt over to D. & from all accounts afterwards- She asked him to take her to the show but he got nervous and didn’t stay through. Then D. left this evening and Walt sure felt bad about two-timing me like that.

Trella Hemmerly – 1933-06-23

Friday June 23rd 1933
Went to Mrs. Wiants for a meeting to learn about camp. In the evening Aunt Ruth and Helen came over and we made two pairs of shorts for me out of old dresses. I’m getting my stuff pretty well gathered up. It looks interesting.

Trella Hemmerly – 1933-06-21

Wednesday June 21st 1933
Helen Wood sure flared up when she misunderstood me. We were all going swimming and I had a time getting Mary Burtch but we did go. Then Mary Burtch, Doris and I started to a show but Walt at last came along. All the mess of today. Doris & all made me cry all evening.
