Friday November 17th 1933
Walt and I have been going together for 6 months. He came down for supper and then we went to “Footlight Parade” to celebrate. After we came home I put on my prom dress. Wald look tickled. I wore my new wine colored dress.

Walt seems so glad that his mother is getting a divorce. this decree will the final about the last of December.

Tuesday November 14th 1933
Went to Grant’s and put in my application. Doesn’t look favorable at all so I won’t have any false hopes. Walt got fired this morning for throwing a boys shoe in a tree. I cried in Economics class and when we went to see Mrs. Haldeman.
