Oh was I ever sick.

Tuesday October 25 1932
We kids giggled all the way to school (J. going to turn the alarm off in mother’s room & Elwyn’s naivetes- my request at Bob- Me gettin in other bed- Arm covers messed even if Mary did straighten hers out). And then John Warner tells me I did put the reader in- Oh Fixed tabular typing in eve & read.

Monday October 24 1932
Lib Council at school and then G.R. Cabinet meeting. Went to Mary’s worked, got ready. Elwyn Williams came after us in his 24 (or 22) Ford & we went after. Bob H. Party rather dumb. Helen & Jimmy & Maury & Elwyn & Bob & I came up here then. The boys left about 1:15. We kids had to sleep rather raw– all my P.J.;s are in the wash.

Sunday October 23 1932
S.S. church. Practised for the play for tonight at 1:30. Mary washed & waved my hair & borrowed a little girl suit for me for tomorrow. While I was down there this afternoon. I nearly asked Bernard Brooks to go to the Kinesia Party with me but had sense enough not to. Some time down there tonight.

Saturday October 22 1932
Did I work this morning. Cleaned my room & the living room good. Lil, Maury & I went to the game Findlay. We expected to get beaten terribly but outplayed them entirely. They would win by 1 pt. 7-6. Lil & Mary came here for a Salsifi supper. Mary & I went to Helen’s to curl her hair & I wrote a letter to Joe. Stayed at Mary’s all night.

Friday October 21 1932
We decided my “Booster Section” editorial had to go in but I almost had to cry for Mr. Wumer before I got it in. My papers did look pretty good tho. Went to DeWille Concert Company (L.C.) with Lillian H & then down to Lil’s for a lunch & parchesia. She & her mother are sweet.

Thursday October 20 1932
I told Bernard Brooks he could bring the neighbor along so about 7 in came Bernard, the neighbor & Rayl Conyers. They put the galleys & Bernard & I figured where to put them. Then played bridge & danced with Bernard & Bob & played bridge. When they got ready to leave, Rayl’s car was entirely soaped.

Wednesday October 19 1932
All but 2 stories in, proof corrected— so I feel pretty good. Gave Dale a sales talk over telep. Don’t know how much he got. Six wks. Texts have started Shorthand & part of history today. Wrote ed. On pep. L. Woolum moved down the street.

Tuesday October 18 1932
About half of material in. Lost Key to Herald office somewhere. I just feel fagged out — as if someone had shook me till I couldn’t stand up. Daddy started to put some plugs in my room. I don’t know why he stopped. I went to bed about 8:10.

Monday October 17 1932
My Young Man & I had fun 1st period. I asked Bob H. to go to the Guild Party with me & he acted almost too overjoyed. Had some pictures taken yesterday & got them. Not too bad. Play practice for next Su night at 7:00. Afterwards Bernard Brooks made me sick.
