Breakfast with Jordan’s & Brooks’ – also stayed at Motel. No time to see gifts. Home through Oxford. Anita & Paul Monnett & friend here. Terradise in full splendor. Davy’s a doll all day.

Saturday, April 26, 1969
David’s Wedding Day! Perfect sunny weather. Kathi & I decorated church & didn’t get to see wedding gifts. Had lunch with Grandma Meister. Made u flowers for wedding. Beautiful ceremony – reception not set up until 7:40. Kent & georgia Burton did it. Eric [Bob Erickson] – Marion Burton – Brass quartet & Phyl Miller on organ.

Friday, April 25, 1969
Kathi & I loaded station wagon off for Cincinnati. Rehearsal at Cheviot United Methodist & then to Hilltop House [The Celestial in Mt. Adams] for late dinner. Overlooking Ohio River.

Thursday, April 30, 1970
Hot – Hi 87- low 70. I think Donner had kittens but can’t find them. Ruth Mulvaine to clean. Betti Busch Girl Scout Troop (20 girls) out to tour garden. To see Marion Little Theatre “Amorous Flea” with David & Karen. To Keg & Vine after.

Wednesday, April 29, 1970
Breakfast on deck. Left work at 12:15 with Genevieve Beers to Columbus to pick up baskets at Connells warehouse. To Hills & Claprood. Home about 8:00. Ruth Mulvaine quitting as cleaner.

Tuesday, April 28, 1970
Rain – “Horses” for attic steps wrong length so everything stopped. To Nu Supply to pick out things for basement wash room. To work from 3 to 4. Home & mowed while David fertilized. To Altrusa dinner.

Monday, April 27, 1970
Dick Wilson started tearing out to put in attic stairway – All that mess on my clean rooms. Took mother with me to Cardington delivery. Temp 80.

Sunday, April 26, 1970
Ranny Williams & Kent out. Gorgeous sunny morning. Forsythia & Daffs at best. Flood going down. We went to Waite’s Woods*. Kathi called – what to do about Phillipines? Tafts & Minnicks out. Planted larkspur & marigolds.

*[Woodlot at corner of Williamsport Road and Morrow County Road 60 where Trella had permission to transplant wildflowers – mainly trilliums]

Lovely day – 68 0 River small flood. Busy at shop. Took Connie with me to decorate Trinity. Tired. To bed at 8:00. Switched clocks for daylight savings time. Letters from Kathi & Marjorie P.

Friday, April 24, 1970
Hard Rain. Work. Dick Wilson in to shop & will start attic stairway Monday. Didn’t lie down yesterday or today. David & Karen went to Cincinnati for weekend.
