Dreary rainy day. Clearing evening. Had supper for Karen & David and David & then I mowed. Got tractor stuck in muskrat run at edge of pool.

Dinner at Karen & David’s. Their tulips beautiful.
Wedding at Prospect. David took Bret [Severns – Little Brother] to dedication of Greenville Treaty Marker. Then I went with them & Elizabeth Connolly to “her” site of “Jacob’s Well” on Gospel Hill.

Three proms tomorrow so I stayed & worked with Kent & Connie until 9. Had over 100 Boutinierres & about 50 nosegays & corsages.

$2,000 over last Mother’s Day & $1,000 over Easter.

Ranny Williams out birding & breakfast. Gardened most of day. David & Karen out with weiners for picnic across river. Monettes & Ed Hutchmqan stopped by. Kathi & Don called. Beautiful day temp 72.

Mother’s Day – work totaled over 4,000 for today.
Whee – what a day. Almost forgot to go to wedding & then decorated wrong church. Had Mary & Richard Tubbs in to help David & Betty. Whole gang really worked.

Genevienve Beers in for Mother’s Day. Really busy. I worked until 12 – Kent & Sis to 11:30. Rented Hertz truck to do Prospect wedding & for tomorrow. David in after school to help deliver.
