Beautiful morning for weeding. In at 11:30 to do Seaman wedding. Took Mother to St. mary’s with me to watch parade. My car blocked in & had to push out of way. -Mowed – Jordans-Brooks-Haldeman’s & Mother for picnic.

Friday, July 3, 1970
10:30 David just called & said they were back. He had called Anderson Jr. Hi (in Cincinnati) & they offered him contract – So – Rugged day at shop. Worked till 7. Stopped at Mother’s – Fed David’s cats. Supper at BBF.

Thursday, July 2, 1970
They moved part of sewage system to higher level. Electric Co. had cut huge ash in lower area when I got up but I talked to foreman & saved the “Mother” maple. Carl Rieger & Fred White here.

Wednesday, July 1, 1970
Donner’s kittens to vets again.
Slept in Rec room last night – so hot. No business at shop. Had Mother out to escape heat. Took her to Humpty Dumpty for supper. Stopped at Fail’s to pick up iris. To Mother’s for fitting green glistening [?] dress.

Wednesday, July 15, 1970
Mexican Florists outdid themselves on Wedding Flowers. Isabelle & I to Museum of Modern Art in P.M. Wore green glittery “Lion Ribbon” dress to Banquet. Centerpiece of fruit, ochids & candles. 4 ft. high. Villa Fontana violins to entertain. Lott gold cup on taffy. [sic]

Tuesday, June 30, 1970
Hot (96) Shirley cleaning & Kenneth Kilbury moved spindle bed to Kathy’s room & is finishing. Saw huge black snake by pond. Over to feed David’s cats. They have gone to Michigan.

Monday, June 29, 1970
Pic off to be with Carl at Buckeye Lake for a few days. He can’t talk out loud now. Took Donner & white kittens to Vet. Brought them home & took Blitzen back. Mowed & raked lawn by pond.

Sunday, June 28, 1970
In to do Kline wedding at Trinity Baptist & Anne Splete at Epworth. Too tired to stay in for Concert in the Park. Home at 4 & to bed at 5.

Saturday, June 27, 1970
2 Pick up weddings & 5 big church weddings. Really worked hard. Swartz girl practically hysterical-. Me dead tired.

Friday, June 26, 1970
Supper at Karen & David’s. Then they came out & showed “Terradise Spring” – complete with music.
Took Blitzen to vet for pneumonia shot.
