9:30 performance of Ballet Folklorico. Stupendous, Then to Xochimilco through slums. Mostly Mexicans picnicking. Market interesting. To Convention opening about 3:30. Great.

More jewlery buying & sight seeing. By bus to Cuernevasa. Lunch in Bordo Gardens under Mango trees. Back to luxurious Camino Real. Dinner at El Logo’s with Loft’s – Meir, etc.

Bus to Taxco – Beautiful mts., many with terraced corn fields. Taxco charming. Shops irresistable. Trip by taxi to Zocalo exciting bargaining fun. Taxco by monnlight gorgeous.

Tour of Mexico City. Chapultapec Flower Markets, Archeology Museum, National Palace., Bull FIght Restaurant, Pyramids, Basilca of Gudaloupe.

Chester Scott took Isabelle & I to Port Columbus for flight to Chicago & Mexico City. Customs easy & trip to hotel interesting with old man & the Lofte’s from Texas. Walked to Diana Fountain area.

Martha baked cake & I bought chicken for lunch. Kent helped David move Frank Phillips grinder which he bought for $100. It would make a potters wheel. John & Louise Merchant picked up kitten.

Worked through list of things to do at shop. Checks signed, etc. & outside shop. SHoes-bank-pick up airline tickets. Got notebooks ready & cleaned purse. Stopped at Mothers.

In at 11:30 to do Judy Rissler’s wedding. 2 funeral pieces after wedding. Cleaned up desk. Home at 5:30. Very tired. Coordinated Mexican travel material.
