Beautiful day – 82 degrees.
Cut fern for Howard (Cindy) wedding tomorrow. I was in a terrible mood. Hurt Martha’s feelings because I don’t like her field daisies. She made red (her Sweet Williams), white (her daisies) & Blue (sprayed Wild Yarrow) bokays for cash & carry special.
Estimates on counter from Lockwood $583. Think we’ll cut down our present one.
Howard has everything mowed.
Picked up my wagon at Race [Motors]
Finished except a chrome piece.
Stopped to see Mother.

Dave Hempstead here at 10 to clean out eaves. Also helped trim trees. Ah, for the stamina of youth!
Trimmed Japanese Black Pine at corner of upper drive & planted petunias around it & the new dogwood.
kathi & kids out about 5:30 to go to River Vally Strawberry Festival, but too many people so got ice cream & sandwiches at stand near Caledonia & ate at home.
Refrigerator not freezing again. I knew the way it vibrated it would make another leak. Sears man says dishwasher leak is outside dishwasher.
So tired.

2 wedding appointments.
Dave painted new wedding wall & new office – gold.
Talked to Dick Werley. He wants to renew his lease for a smaller area. I suggested Ins. Co. move there & we expand into Ins. area. Dick says Dashers want a 25% increase. Would make my rent over $500 for what I have now.

Woke with headache. Very tired all day. Triaminicin controlled headache.
In to shop at 12. Did 2 weddings and Connie did one in Waldo. Picked Kathi & kids up and went to Reuben Smith’s to see iris. His beds all gone to thistles, but some beauties blooming. Introduced Davy & Kristi to Root Beer Floats!
Howard had mowed whole lower area. Looks so pretty. He really is priceless.
Worked on macrame for Mrs. Basil & watched TV. Bed at 11:00.
