Headachy so not much help to Howard in cleaning up the locust tree. Kids had fun with Hobart’s 4 week old kittens. but Donner’s 2 week old ones cry when picked up. Kids played piano lesson some. Davy won’t learn when you try to teach him but goes back and does it after.
Toom them in about 4:30 to shope in a turmoil of $400 funeral orders for Leslie Ferriman – one of 4 killed in auto accident Monday on 309. Put them on production line & turned out 12 pieces in 30 minutes. Noel Sherman started on delivery job.

Brought Kristi & Davy home with me during a thunder storm. As I was closing living room window the big honey locust by the greenhouse split & half of it fell toward the river, bending the 20 year old Colorado Blue Spruce & breaking limbs from the Washington Hawthorne. Such a mess, but thank goodness not on the greenhouse & house.
The frog tadpoles have transformed into frogs juding from the number of small frogs suddenly appearing around pond.

Too glad bokay & carnations to mother for her 85th birthday. Having a $2 doz. sale on glads in her honor. And I’m paying $1.65 or 10! Sold over 100 dozen Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
Many people reminisced about buying them on front porch.*
Howard has everything spic & span for the shop picnic tomorrow. I shopped for buns, vegetables, etc.
