Took 2 3 ft. boxes of indexing to Mr. Clafieu at Marion Tech. He’ll try to get it typed.
Haas wedding at Prospect Street United Methodist- at 1:30. Ruthe decided she wanted aisle candelabra. We made it!
Kathi took kids to Walt & Olgua’s & she followed Dave Woessner – Randy & Laura & I in my car to John Belli’s open house Las Vegas Night in his new facilities north of Westerville. Nice buffet – big crowd & I learned Bacarat. Was losing until McCleary’s from Coshocton gave me here $5,000! As evening ended John’s uncle had epileptice seizure – everyone frightened. John Belli paiod for our room at Ramada Inn.

Played hookey from work. Beautiful day. Transplanted out of greenhouse.

Thursday, October 23, 1975
Worked around house until noon. When I went in found Martha off – hurt her hack pouring cement – Judy off – tooth infection – Jackie off – just sick. Not busy but these are the days should be getting Christmas ready.
Helped Kathi with billing. She pinch hits for Judy very well.

Tuesday, October 21, 1975
Board Meeting of Marion County Historical Society at shop.
Got garage straightened around with wreaths on one side.

Monday, October 20, 1975
Home for supper. Picked up Roxie Smith for Burroughs Club. Imo Hentze on Indian Jewelry good – but rest of meeting dragged.

Sunday, October 19, 1975
In bed with headache until 12. – Got out Hildreth & Sheneman genealogies & tried to mark family sites on the maps I got . Roots go back to Columbiana (Zimmerman, Hemmerly, Baker), Holmes (Sheneman), Muskingum, Knox, Union (Hildreth).
Mary & Rocky out. Mary helping alphabetize & took a while shoe box home with her. There is a total of 10 shoe boxes of slips.
Rainy cold day but Howard suggested we go look for pine cones at Claridon School and Cemetery. Cut my bittersweet & oak & beech leaves to glycerine when we got back. Alphabetize. Bed at 11:00.

Friday, October 17, 1975
Cold 45 – rainy 1″ – windy 30 mph – miserable weather.
Dave made 3 floor baskets for St. Pauls church for Julia Strelitz funeral. 2 @ 62.50 – 1 @ $100. Had to go to church to do biggest one.
Got my set of 88 county maps. They cost 15 cents each but new price list with them says 35 cents each after Nov 15 – So I order David’s set now!
More indexing. No one returned them indexed to given names.

Saturday, October 18, 1975
Normal Saturday. 4 weddings – homecoming dance at River Valley – Barry delivering sure makes things easier.
Stopped at Mary & Rocky’s. They just got back from 3 day trip in Southern Ohio hunting covered bridges. At David’s Friday – Mary went to Symphony with Karen. Brought back the things I forgot. Home at 8 & had popcorn for supper. More alphabetizing.

Thursday, October 16, 1975
Mrs. Jones here to clean, but Howard kept things so nice I really don’t need her. Worked on correcting alphabetizing that others did. In at 1:00. Kathi gone to teacher conference but shop in an uproar because she asked them to time their work & turn in production sheets. I listened, but asked them to tell her that they think they do more than expected. Laura is the one who feels she has to do Martha’s work & Dave also complained & he wasn’t there. At Boyd’s getting spray order for “Countess Lazar” Julia Strelitz*. Kids home with me & Kathi & mother out for dinner.
