Thursday, November 13, 1975
Worked on lepidoptera collection while Mrs. Jones cleaned. Got all the ones in cases counted. Value there over $2,000.
Picked Kathi up for concert series – Vienna Boys Choir. Not as good (for me) as the one Bob went with us at Ashland. Mostly sung in Latin.

Tuesday, November 11, 1975
To Worthington for a conference with George Davis at Maple Lee about accounting procedures. He felt I had enough questions that I would profit from a conference with his accountant in Delaware, Bill Senft. So set one up.
Shopped some, but 3 hbours of concentrated thinking with Geo left me exhausted.
Altrusa Potluck. Showed slides I took at conference.

Monday, November 10, 1975
To River Valley at 8 to attend Jack Lautz Distributive Education Class for evaluation. Very educational for me. Coffee with Jack in lounge. Not busy at shop & trying to get cleaned & organized for Christmas.
Picked up Mary Jordan & she took me to dinner at Turroffs & Carl met us for Ed Lark’s travelog on Germany, First time at Palace & it was nearly filled. Kathi & Mary R. also went.

Sunday, November 9, 1975
Gorgeous Day! Made sempervivum wreath on patio. Bob Clark & wife & Milo & Mrs. Lindley out with new chain saw I bought – cut Crimson King Mple near garage & dead box elder. Had a little wiener roast with 10 wieners for 8 people.
Made chili with tomatoes I canned but they were spoiled so no good to eat when kathi came for kids. Davy turned 100 somersaults!

Saturday, November 8, 1975
2 weddings – Serviced both. Very tired when I picked up kids to go home with me. Kathi going to a Sigma Kappa tea in Newark tomorrow.
Kids & I all to bed at 9:30.
Picked up half the index from Marion Tech School & took half to Dorothy Swaderer & half to Mary Waugh to type.

Friday, November 7, 1975
Kathi & I to Ralph Carhart’s office to sing all the corporation minutes & accept the corporate records.
Kathi applied the seal & has them in the safe at the shop with my 500 share stock certificate.
Fried hamburg & hash brown potatoes for supper. Watched “Wonder Woman” (take off on comic book story) & “Hey I’m Alive” (49 day ordeal in Yukon after plane crash) while hemming “Bennington ’76 flaf that came in “row”.
Also review distributive Ed. program as part of committee.

Thursday, November 6, 1975 temp 77 highest on record
Transplanted African Violets & strawberry begonias. Gorgeous Day. Howard & I picked up trash along road. 2 buckets full. Had 5 places to go tonite. Altrusa Style Show – (Sent stage decorations) C’mas talk at shop (Martha did it) Reunion of Victoria Christensen Circle (Mary R & Mary J took my regrets – didn’t get to Import Fair at Calvary Church – went to Quest Club because I’m president – but Ted Myers & his Marion County slides very worthwhile.

Wednesday, November 5, 1975
Worked on a new pricing sheet for cut flowers. Got it done with an each price for all flowers. To this is to be added container – or make up. Much better than the hodge podge we’ve had.
