Photgraphed butterflies.

Rainy & warm – 55 for Open House.
Everything ready when I got in at 10:30. Howard came in to see the “Big Tree” – over 2,000 cones & 8′ high.
Jim Schultz said the Open House was run just like a play. He said it was very well staged & everyone had their “parts” perfect. Kristi & Davy stole the show, Mother passed out 450 calendars, 1 to a family & we ran out about 4. Had about 1,000 people & $900 sales. Kathi had chili supper at her house & we sang carols. Called on Harold Denzer, Sr. He died Tuesday.

Had 30 deliveries to start the day – probably did 50-60 altogether – Barry & Clarence Everly & Rick Oliver handled it easily. Keep busy all day, but had enough ahead that it seemed easy. Used 150 bu. pompoms since Monday. Finished by 6 – made cranberry sauce for tomorrow.
