Swept house before going in. Receipts for month very low. Less than $5,000 so far. Had mother & Mary & Rocky out for Altrusa left overs for Mother’s birthday. Rocky & I chased all over for projector bulb.

Howard helped me clean & had garden mowed & trimmed to perfection. About 40 here for Altrusa picnic. Mrs. Yeager catered. Marge Hazlett guest. Rainy so only 5 people ate out. Really a houseful.

Sally called. She’s going into hospital today socan’t come to clean! Took cake in for Pic’s birthday but came homw with headache at 1:30. In bed till 6:30. Made 100 leaves for Nachur’s order.

Cooked AM. David & Karen here at 12:15 for dinner & then to Beers to study hog raising while I did Parrott wedding. Then to Marion Musicians Picnic. Vielhauer sausages. Ate with Hinklins. To concert. Kids left at 9:30.

2 weddings. No Problems. Martha off. Unpacked brass shipment (from India). Shopped Albers. Had Kosy Kitten cat food. Up 11 cents. Rewound movie film.

To Bona Vista with Mary & Rocky for dinner & then to Ohio to see “What’s Up, Doc?” Barbra Streisand & Ryan O’Neil. Hilarious.

Slept till 10:30! In to shop for about 2 hrs. Shopped Welles. Clothes for Davy & Kris & neglige for me. Bought rhododendron at Oborns. Hal & Marge Hazlett out to get plants. Ran movies. Forgot Historical Society Board.

Picked Mother up at 9 (Howard wouldn’t go) & drove to Cincinnati. David & Karen busy at their “Pork Products” Stall #8 at Findlay St. Market. Been netting about $400 a week! Bought cast iron lawn furniture & film for Europe.

Took Moth books to Bill Hutchman for him to identify larvae. Marcella & Lisa here in evening. Lisa showed Australian slides. Gave her travel diary. German casettes & maps. Nice evening.
