Beautiful day for shop picnic. Karen & David brought sausages & grill. About 30 here. Had potato salad & baked beans & relish tray from Mike’s Restaurant. Boated – cards – croquet & Keith Brashear on organ.

Rigged up dehumidifier in basement rec room. Cleaned patio for picnic Sunday.

Social committee meeting at shop to plan year’s work & picnic for August 21.

Bought Whirlpool Dehumidifier for basement $130. To Rockwell’s at 6 to meet Mr. Daino from Mt. Vernon with Kemp shredder to make compost. $275. Kathi took kids to Whetstone Pool & I stoppped by.

Whole crew in to finish up funeral work. Home at 1:15. Kristi & I in boat gathered duckweed to mulch petunias. Sally Byrnes brought contract to shop on 665 Normandy from seller. Accepted my $36,500 offer.

Kathi & I met Slly Byrnes to look at 665 Normandy. Best we’ve seen. Asking $37,500. I offered $36,500. Bill Hutchman not home to consult. Funeral work for 2 car victims – suicide & fight victim!

Sally Byrnes showed Kathi & me several houses in Chateau Ridge. Will look at “used” on tomorrow like we saw today. Davy has fever & Kristi boils. Kathi took them to Smith Clinic. Made several terrariums.
