Took Pic to bank to sign signature card to write Hemmerly checks while I’m gone. Dick Myers in about my stopping buying Progress Mutual Funds. Kathi & I hair done. Shopped for blue sweater. Didn’t find. Supper here with Howard – packed.

Balanced check book – need $4,500 more to balance July payments. Took dehumidifier back – won’t run. Headache, so no packing. To bed about 8:30.

Sunday, July 22, 1973
Puttered around greenhouse. Painted turtle on driveway. Trimmed vibernums. Kathi, Kristi & Davy to Sunday School & church. In at 2 & did logistics for 9 weddings this weekend & then Withrow wedding at Green Camp. Did her mother’s 25 years ago. To Mary’s for Kathi’s birthday dinner. Kids played in pool.

Wedding appointments all day. At 6 met Jordan’s & Brooks’ to go to Plaza Restaurant at Mt. Victory. Carl’s car hot & BBB* got his. Dinner delicious but BBB was sick. Heard about their trip to Northern Michigan.

Kathi & I left shop about 3. To Chick’s Camera Shop & bought Belesa 925A flash gun $40. Closeup lens set, new battery for Nikormat & lens case. Supper & shopped in German Village. Met Karen & David at Chillicothe for Outdoor Drama Tecumseh!

Signed loan papers for 665 Normandy. $36,500 + $75 loan fee. Pd $7300 down – balance $29275 – 7 1/2 % interest. Pay $235 mo – 20 yr loan. Made out orders for 8 weddings this weekend. Bought pole lamp $25 and pillows at Kings. Kathi & kids visited Thompsons.

All up about 9:30. Breakfast on deck. Karen & David left for Lake Erie at noon. 4 wedding appointments. Howard got pump to river hooked up. Sandy Shaneff called while Kathi was in Marion.
