All slept until 9 and after pancake and bacon breakfast we headed for the pond (rowed boat) and the woods (picked up sticks). Nice morning- temperature 65 and Kathi thought it was Heaven. Found Salt and Pepper blooming, one Spring Beauty, Scillas.
In to shop about 3 to see the people there then picked up Kentucky Fried Chicken and salad and took to mothers and had supper there- Mary too. Mother told us how her folks made bars of maple sugar and stored in the chest she had upstairs. Found some letters from Aunt Theresa (Bina then)- fascinating reading- her ranting about John Dunn- her husband- and then his letter explaining his side.

Kathy called from Chicago about 2:00 saying that if she didn’t call back by 4:00 they would be on the plane and to meet them in Columbus at 5:00. But at 4:00 she called saying they had been on the plane and had to get off for one man. So Mary, Kenny and I left about 9:00 to meet the 10:00 plane which was 45 minutes late.
So good to see Kathi, Kristy and Davy. He has his braces on and already teeth are straight. Kristy as alert and delightful as always. Kathi looks good and except for being fed up with snow and cold seems contented. Hard to stop talking and get to bed but we did about 1.

Spent the day getting orders ready for Easter. 250 lilies 250 blooming plants.
Brad Drake in to apply for delivery job- will try him out. Don’t like his long hair but he says he’ll have it cut.
Stopped at Bowen House and it was too much of a mess for board meeting so had it at Hemmerly’s. Peter Thayer had stopped in to talk about Harding Memorial Association lack of doing anything. I asked him to come to meeting. Met with some belligerence.
