In at 8:00 & worked on wedding & corsages. Daddy, Mother & Kathy to Galion to pick up Forrest & Mary Sheneman*. First visit in 3 1/2 years. At 4:00 met Don Ferrol & wife at Westwood. He seems interested**. Supper at mother’s. Serviced wedding & visited. Sent flower to Salem in memory of Ray’s birthday.;

[* Forrest Sheneman was Ivaloo Sheneman Hemmerly’s nephew from Salisbury, NC. He worked for the Southern Railway as a diesel engine manual author.]

Sunday, February 13, 1955
Cold – 25 but sunny. Kids grand time skating & sliding at flooded field at corner. I took walk in woods & found fascinating animal tracks. Daddy out & worked on cornices P.M. Browns here for supper & home at 8:30 taking Beth Hanning from MYF.
