Will see lawyer Monday & draw up papers. Census men here tonight. Want me to find 5,000 lost acres. Mide Leonard here for night.

Up & baked cookies for Mary & Forrest to take home. Stopped at bank – but left my card at Goodyear for tire alignment & then to Columbus with Mother & Daddy & Forrest & Mary. Lunch at Howard Johnson’s & then to Aunt May’s* for chat. Had extra hour visit for train. At Mother’s for supper then wedding appointment – Weston. Home 11:00.

River out on this side some but starting down by evening. In at 2:30 & took Mary & Forrest shopping. Then back to Lily’s to put casters on Grandma’s bed. To Mary’s for supper. Kathy to basketball – me to Mary Bachman’s to revise Girl Scout const. Back to Mary’s for visit & home about 11:00. Prospect beat Caledonia.

Monday, February 21, 1955
Pancakes for breakfast. River flooding far bank. No school for kids – teachers sick. In with Mary about 11. Forrest & Daddy to Coshocton – business. Mary got wine for Grandma* & she, Kathy & I at Aunty Lily’s for lunch. Pictures at Mother’s tonight until 10:00 – snow melting first time in weeks.
