Howard and I walked in woods. Leaves about half down. Trees gorgeous. Picked up Mary and mother and Hattie Price- Lula Phipps Cocherl’s daughter, to go to Union County. Stopped at Claibourn and Hopewell cemeteries and saw Hildreth Cemetery from road. Photographed William and Elizabeth Hildreth’s home, David and Eliza Hildreth’s home, site of Emmanuel and Lucy Sherman’s home and their home on Route 4. Talked to Rheinhart who lives in Phipps’ home and he gave us rounds of cedar from tree in yard. To dinner at Hutchmans. Gave me jam and gypsum. Good talk.
