Trella Hemmerly – 1978-10-26

Thursday October 26th 1978 rain cool 50 degrees
Wrapped Guatemalan tape for Kathi, school record book for kids, handicraft book for Bob, $50 for each of them, and the chord organ so their Christmas is ready to send. Sorted through accumulations on tables. Got pork roast and sauerkraut dinner. Washed two loads clothes, talked to Mary Brocklesby, Ruth Kleinmaier, Don McCoy on phone. Wrote letters to Jackye Shuck, David [Haldeman], Uncle Allen [Allen Shenman] and Marjorie [Dickey], cleaned desk drawer, read “America” written by a Welshman in 1839 to tell people in Wales how to emigrate.
