Saturday May 28th 1977
Took mother to Chapel Heights with me to deliver cut flowers Arrangements. Couldn’t find Cora Packer marker so put it where superintendent said it should be. Hot 85 and sunny!
Bruno wedding. Took Mary with me to service. She did pretty wedding but gave too much value. But think she’ll be okay.
To dinner at Ponderosa with Bernard and Carl. Mary shopping all day with friend.
Heard on TV about fire at the Beverly in Kentucky where David plays often. Called him and thank goodness he answered!

Friday May 27th 1977
Finishing up prom orders. Laura managed Department very well. Had Mary Walker and Janice working with her.
To cemeteries to deliver Pots. I hate to put them out in the sun.
Wedding at First Nazarene. Mrs. Flannery quite put out because best man came to rehearsal in bare feet. Really a disorganized bunch- Massie Temple.

Thursday May 26th 1977
Tanya graduating from Elgin today. Shop people gave her jade and opal pendant that I had bought from Nathan Song- paid $32 for it wholesale. Delivered their flowers.
Worked with Laura and Mary on corsages. Gary Adams of McDonald’s came in to confirm $250 order for live plants and took an hour of my time.
Mary called from Ogden. Had visited Steve and he knew them. The nurses say they can’t help him anymore there. He needs more therapy. How can his parents leave him like that?

To Altrusa dinner. Only $1.50 as caterer gave the dinner because he didn’t show up with any food last month.
New member program with school room theme. Rather silly. But guess it was supposed to be.
