Thursday July 21st 1977
Up early and to airport via limousine. 9:30 flight to Columbus over Long Island Sound & Jersey Shore before clouds set in. In to shop about noon and worked until 1:30 when Dave came back from lunch. Then I came home.
Howard pretty disgusted with painters. They loaf most of the time and leave and come back. He told them not to come around while I was gone.

Sunday July 17th 1977
into shop at 7 and Dave and Randy picked me up. Rain storm on way to airport. 9:00 flight to Boston. Took taxi to Sheraton Boston. First person I saw was Mrs Taefel from Oregon. Nice rooms on 7th Floor overlooking the Christian Science complex. Bountiest buffet lunch and then the grand opening with full Orchestra- singing girls. Designers in formal clothes and showed them designing on video tape! Next door to see multimedia presentation of “Where’s Boston”- 40 projector is showing 3,100 slides on 8 screens! Unit night with lots of giveaways.
