Tuesday September 20th 1977
Busy every minute at shop with wedding appointments and checking future orders. Taking wedding payments and making out orders and schedules for next two weeks weddings.
To Mary’s for supper. They have a new Wheel Horse mower $1,000 ($850 with trade-in of old mower.)
Then to MC Hist Society board meeting. Not much accomplished. Home and wrote copy for bulletin. Bath, washed, made-up bed. Packed some and it’s 2 a.m. and I have to get up at 4.

Monday September 19th 1977
Took mother to Columbus for Lizzie Leeper Smith’s funeral. Decided at 12:15 to go to 2:30 funeral and got there at 2:00. Annie Gunderman, her sister there but almost blind and hard to make her understand who we were.
Checked Philippine Airlines in San Francisco they can’t trace shipment without Airways bill number which Edgar didn’t send. Wrote him for it but things probably stopped in San Francisco because no broker there.
