“Fast” day on no-jet-lag diet. Fruit & soup – no caffeiene. Tmp 92
Watered trees & garden with 12 gallon in jugs. Also fertilized most beds around house. Paid bills for June & July including real estate taxes $1,50 for all 5 properties. To bank for $200 in cash and post office to mail – over $5 in posage! Howard helped me bag Eber Bakert Beans – have 65 bags ready for the fair & 8 at the shop.

Got international driver’s license but probably won’t need it. Mr. Katz called and said car rental was over $200 a week so he didn’t reserve. Also no room reserved. Wrote Eamon giving him bed & breakfast and asking him to reserve. Visited mother & Gloria Marshall. Home about 7:30 and hungry. Bed early.

Temp 90 – Feast Day
Mary & Kenny picked at 7:30 for trip to New York – Niagra Falls. He had a list & got up early enough so that all was checked off by time I got up. But it makes me feel like a big weight off not having to plan my days around him.

Plowed garden across road and replanted corn & cuburbits. Letter from Eamon and he will meet us at airport!

Took letters for committee chairmen & refunds to Imogene to mail as I have no class money. Visited mother – at high carbohydrate and porotein today on no jet lag diet. Judy over to protest Kass & Pat getting a raise and no one else did. I only knew Pat did.
