Paid $5.50 at the Fashion and that closes my account again. This ice is terrible to walk on. Has made me all sore.
Bill has been terrible to work with this week. Everything so messed up and then so awfully busy too.
Mrs. Davis asked me if I had been washing things in the bathroom. I told her “No nothing but me.”
Messed around guess I’ll go to bed early.

Well it looks more like an office now but the noise from the shipping room is getting me down.
It was almost zero this morning. Froze all that slushy snow and there is an inch thick on everything.
Wally brought me my Valentine tonight. A box like I’ve been hunting filled with candy. He went home early cause “When a man has to go”.

Have part of the walls up. 5 foot sure will make a difference.
Started snowing this afternoon. A sticky snow. Everything looks so pretty.
Took a bath. Wally called and I called Aunt May and ask her to come down Sunday afternoon.

Up at 5:30, breakfast and out to meet B. Shelton. When I got to work our office had no walls at all. Just a couple of desks in a corner of the shipping room.
Left the only dollar I had at home so I had to borrow some money from Bill for lunch and tickets.
Wally hitchhiked back this afternoon and came down this evening. He brought my dollar. Cutout quilt blocks.

Walt came in time for supper. I made creamed tuna fish on toast. Walt’s Aunt Martha to Mrs. H & us up to Lowell’s in their new car. Poor Lowell and Alice. But it seems to me they could do more with what they have.
Walt stopped in for popcorn and then went to Milt Baker’s for all night.

Went up to Morehouse Martin’s for lunch. This sales tax sure is a nuisance. Rather springy out today.
Cut a few quilt pieces this evening. Read. Davis’s went out for a change.
Got sick in the night. Got up and took some Seigrittes[sic-illegible] that a girl at Godman’s gave me and some whiskey and then went to sleep. Finished Harvests.
