Wally called this evening and wanted to go for a walk or something but we decided not to.
So I worked on quilt.
Wally met the streetcar tonight and gave me some peanuts in the shell.
Quite a mess. All the motor freight to do today. It doesn’t pay to be off.

Got so sick about 9:30. Thought I’d never make it to the restroom. Thought I’d feel better but had to go home about 11:00. Piled in bed with hot water bottle after ginger tea and slept until 5:30. Then Mrs. Davis called me for supper. Back to bed at 7:30.

Slept until 11. Laura and I took a walk.
Sorta looked for Mother and Daddy but they didn’t come.
At church Reverend Wiley announced that he and Mrs. Wiley we’re leaving 10th Avenue to go to Kalamazoo. Wally met me afterwards and we went to Fireside. He told about his accounting course at Bliss.
I acted terrible coming home. Jealous over nothing.

Felt blue all day but rushed home. Had supper quick. Started my bath about 6:15 and finished dressing at 7:45 just as Wally (Nye Schofield, Vernon Gilmore) drove up. So to Sea Scout dance at Williams Grill Westerville. Surely enjoyed myself. Wally was so sweet.
Got home about 1:00 and so to bed. Dead tired.
