Tuesday January 27 1931
They had a supper for the young people at church and Rev. Stull spoke. We stayed for church & mother came too. Stanley & Doris came to see Phelp’s house. (It had a fire this evening) & came on home with us & we had a lunch.

Pauline & I went to church. Mr. Stull was pretty awful. Didn’t say much in the hour that he talked.
Stanley brought me home.

Berl’s came after S.S. Billy played around and we all enjoyed ourselves. Pauline went to B.Y. with me. All convened downstairs to listen to Mr. Stull, the man who is conducting the revival services. Stanley brought me home. Mother & daddy couldn’t go to church cause some people were here.

Worked on doilies, my dressing table and ect. Made covers out of dimity. My rook looks so fresh and pretty now. While uptown Mother got some drapery creatonne. Red heavy for between the bedroom & dining reoom. It makes it look lots better.

Tody & I visited a Science class of Mr. Baker & got a big kick out of it. Quite different from being a member of the class We went to the game togehter but Tody played in the band & I sat with Bob, e. & Stanley. And when it came to going home Tody backed out & I had aaaaaaatwo. Imagine. They both came clear home with me. Harding won from Galion 17-13.

Not to be parted. Trella & her Caesar book. Studied all morning and took the exam in P.M. It cold have been a little harder.
Our family went to the Mimes presentation of “East Lynne”, a play of 1890 & the clothes looked it.

Exams started. I am exempt from all but Caesar. I slept this morning. We got some dimity* the other day & I made curtains for my room.
And got coal in Mary’s job.

Stanley and Doris came out. Made them crack nuts & ect. For the nutroll. Stanley took my uke home the other night to fix it. He brought it home & we played it, cards, games, looked at pictures & talked.

G.R’s sponsored a show at the Marion, “Tolerable David.” Tody & I went. Like it & especially the southern brogue they used.
