Went to Col. to see Uncle Miles.
Bought a peck of tangerines on the way home – they sure were good ones.

Penny supper at State Street School. Had a fairly good supper for 15 cents.
Mary was in a play. It was good for the condition.
Daddy went to church & met with Deacons.

Tuesday March 17th 1931
Daddy and I went to church and not mother and Mary & the Community Club after. Banking goes on just the same but I hope (but it doesn’t look very good) that the Citizen is okay.

Daddy and mother have started to Sunday school at last. Hurrah.

Saturday March 14 1931
Pauline, Helen Wood, Phyllis B, Glen P, Stanley Wilson, Doris Fogelson, Bob E. and Trella H. composed at party Hammerly home. Bob and Helen had quite a wedding party in the bedroom but in the intervals, cards and other games were played. Tommy and Jessie conveyed the majority of the party home in their cars at about 2:30.
