Saturday April 11 1931
Mother had terrible toothaches & while she was having it pulled I baked a cake & made jello in prep of Fanny and Floy. Stanley took me to the Palace. We were to meet Glenn & Helen but [illegible]

Friday April 10 1931
G.R. Sweetheart Halo party. Such getups as I never saw.
Went with Florence Schilb. We ran around with an Iris Roberts. Seemed very nice.
Stanley came after me.

Thursday April 9 1931
G.R. Meeting with a really good guest speaker. Just full of ideas that seem probable.
Handed my notebook in & Miss Craner showed it to all the classes.
Caesar test.

Wednesday April 8 1931
Took out an account in the Nat’l Bank.
Lost $7.00 in the Savings.
$25.00 in the Citizen & I have $.05 in the Natl to lose.

Tuesday April 7 1931
Back to school.
Guild meeting at Mary Gracely’s. Planned party for Friday 17 but I wonder when we actually will have it.

Monday April 6 1931
Dickey came home from church with us last night & he entertained us with singing & his cuteness all morning. Mertie & Dorothy Gant here for dinner. Mertie made some good divinity fudge. Worked some more on my notebook.

Sunday April 5 1931
Easter Sun. Sunrise Service. Mother, Pauline, Stanley & I. Sunda School & Church & Stanley came home for dinner with us. Church in aft & a little drive. Members welcomed & communion in eve. With 10 riding home in our car.
Church, church & church.

Saturday April 4 1931
Mary’s birthday 12 yrs. Old.
Just loafed around I guess.
Colored some more eggs. Pauline had the kids over. Bob didn’t come. Stanley & Glenn quarreled & Doris looked at photographs. Draw your own conclusions as to its success.

Friday April 3 1931
Shopped in the morning. Mother, Mary & I all got new dresses.
Mother & Mary got hats in P.M. but I had the headache.
Daddy was baptized at the evening church service.
