Sunday June 4 1933
Sunday School & church. Took Mary with us to O’Shaunessay Dam via byroads. Walt wasn’t here when I got home but he was at B.Y. Mary & Bernard Brooks came home with us. They left about 10:15 bu Walt stayed a lot later.

Saturday June 3 1933
Sewed on my white dress., bought a hat and about 1:30 Marion Dunn & I went to Crystal for a swim. Got plenty sunburned. Mother & daddy went to show & Walt came down. We had pop corn, typed, played with cats, swing & etc.

Friday June 2 1933
Up at 7:00, messed around getting car & then Helen & I took part of the Jr. Guild to near Richwood for a picnic. We got sunburns of top of a hay stack & wrote poetry. Walt came down about 8:00. I think & found out what L’s gang of boys think of me. Not so good.

Thursday June 1 1933
Missionary meeting at the church & then I went down to Helen’s. Melvin & Bill Stonebraker were there for supper & then we went to the Grotto Circus. Rode around & did Helen do some high class necking. Bill gave me a pain.

Wednesday May 31 1933
After working around the house a while I went up town for mother & got some white material for me a dress. Went to a practice for the Jr. Guild’s program tomorrow & spent the first of the afternoon cutting it out. Polished the car.

Tuesday May 30 1933
Mowed the yard etc & then Walt, Mother & Daddy & I went to the Forest Cemetery. Floys’, Marys’, Uncle Guys’, Logan County & home. At our supper on the road. Walt stayed till about 11:00. We are getting better.

Monday May 29 1933
Took Mary Burtch a ride & she came up for a while. Went to a V.B.S. teachers meeting. I have the 9 year olds. Went up town & looked at dresses. Mother got 2 & me a blouse. Walt took me to see “King Kong”. Impossible things [shorthand]

Sunday May 28 1933
When daddy & mother came they had a 1929 Olds. I drove from Del home & it sure goes swell. Walt came down in time for B.Y.& we came home after. Pork [cat] fell from the tree & hurt himself. Walt left at 12:15 after saying goodbye since 11:00.

Saturday May 27 1933
Got up in time to have a combination dinner & breakfast Floy, Aunt May & I rode up town with Helen when she started home & shopped for hats. I got a pr of blue psjamas.

Friday May 26 1933
Started for Col with Helen Wood & her sister Marian about 9:00. Went around campus then left Marian. Helen & I took a show, went to Lazarus & out to Aunt May’s for supper. Then we drove around, parked up town & came home & played rum-pucker.
