Watched only a little of Rose Bowl Parade. Picked Mary up and we went to assigned area north of Route 95 West of Marion for bird count. But too tired to get out of car on a miserable day and saw only expected birds. About 3:30 drove to Kildeer area and saw a flight after flight of geese from Refuge area into cornfields. Thousands of next sticking up look like sticks. Also several flights of ducks.
