Left about 8 to pick up Cliff Mitchell to go to Cedar Bog. Met David & Karen & Hink there & was conducted through the locked gate & along 2 mile boardwalk by Watkins kin of Sally Roush. Very interesting and unique. Too cold for picnic so lunched at “Old South” buffet. David & Karen home with me & to Mrs. Wait’s woods to dig more trilliums & other wildflowers for David. Took our picnic supper into Mothers. Mary there and Uncle Allen called. Mother insisted that she “was not at all good.” – but she’s fine.
