Daddy down this morning. Waltl came for dinner about 11:00. Macy, Elmer and Dale happened in.
Walt and I took a drive around Columbus, Mount Vernon Avenue, Grandview, Schiller Park. About 20 miles. I had planned to go to Fireside with Louis but Wally doesn’t want me to. They brought me home about 4:30. Wally bought me a pound of cashews.
Louis called. I told him Walt didn’t want me to go. Maybe I should have made an excuse.
Laura and Ed were married yesterday. I probably wouldn’t know it but for Edwin. I spilled pie[sic]
