Saturday October 26th 1935
Messed around until 11:00 lunch. Then mother, May, Floy and I went uptown. Met Wally for a minute. (He hitched up.) Mary got a red dress at the Joy shop and I got a green wool at “Dels”. $6.90 reduced from $7.90 Paid the Fashion got some tuck stitch PJ’s there. And I dashed home with the headache. Back uptown at 3:30 to meet them all including Louis. Louis, Mary, Walt and I went to “Page Miss Glory.” Shopped for chairs. Ate at Liggett’s. Out to Aunt May’s for cards. After they left I had a lecture on jealousy.
