ALice & Milan over to get iris. Claridon people bought some. Then to Gorby’s. Their iris are diploids. Mother & Daddy out in PM helped with odd jobs. Cool.

Saturday, May 28, 1955
Kathy & I working at shop all day. Rained in PM. – David got final typhoid shot & visited Dr. Goodman. Stopped at Hutchman’s new house on way home & made a delivery to Caledonia Cemetery. Sorted clothes & watched TV – Bath & bed at 12:00.

Friday, May 27, 1955
Jim Weaver calle at 7:30 saying they would be out to put new window in living rook. And they did! Kathy & I worked at shop & greenhouse. Tried to clean up mess in living room tonight. Bill, Erma & Ann Hutchman out. Bed 12:30.

Wednesday, May 25, 1955
In at noon & made corsages for Kathy’s gang. Headache. Home & looked at iris. Beginning to go. Back in at 6:30 for wedding appointment. Mary & Rocky & folks all out for Kathy’s 8th grade commencement. Had Kathy’s “6” over afterward & John & Ruth Clark*.

Monday, May 23, 1955
Up at 8 but back to bed till 11:00 – Poohed out. Transplanted petunias, set out bells of Ireland & some more pansies & dimorphothlea. Showered but I also watered. In at 4 to make corsages for Mrs. Axthelm. In at 7 – 2 wedding appointments. Flower Arranging Talk to Federation of Child Conservation.

Sunday, May 22, 1955
In at 8:00 to do Riter-Saunders wedding. Marilee help me. Home at 3:00 Iris visitors Nystroms, Feavers, Gaskins & ?. Daddy brought little tractor out & put pump in river. Watched TV from 8:30 to 10:00.

Saturday, May 21, 1955
Made combination pots most of day. Kathy working at shope. Kathy made 2 corsages for orders! David had 2nd typhoid shot & made him sick. Mike Leonard home with us at 5:30.
