Still cool. In at 9:00 for Day Camp Training. Only 6 leaders showed. To shop to do Pythian Sisters 28 corsages. Order Girl Scout Camp Uniform at Uhleers. Set out mums & cleaned up around greenhouse. In at 10:30 bath- bed. Card from folks at Cheboygan, Mich.

Wednesday, June 8, 1955
Set out more petunias, dahlias & snaps & transplanted alyssum & ageratum that came up volunteer. In at 1:00 – 10 corsages for Senior Dance. To Scout office for Day Camp Conference with Mary Kay Stone. Back to shop for 2 wedding appointments. Mary & Rocky here when I got home. Cloudy & cool!

Tuesday, June 7, 1955
David to Bible School with Kathy. I in at 11:00 to do few corsages. Rained good. To Dr. Vornholt at 1:00 – Tooth filled. Back to shop – 2 funeral pieces. Up to Gegenheimer’s to sign will. After supper built steps from garage drive up to front lawn & planted petunias on bank.

Monday, June 6, 1955
Set out tuberous begonias in front of house & double begonias & geraniums around terrace. Hot – 87 in AM but nice rain about 5. In at 9 for wedding appointment. Kathy helping at Bible School. Jim Sherer & Tommy Kightlinger over playing with David.

Sunday, June 5, 1955
Marilee Johnston* & Clarence Greer helped me on 4 weddings. But only 2 churches. Mother & Daddy left for Michigan vacation. Home at 4. David & Mike Leonard were swimming in river! Browns out to get Mike & Keith about 8:00.

Saturday, June 4, 1955
Slept till 11:00. In at 1:00 to do corsages & start tomorrow’s weddings. Kathy swimming to Mt. Gilead with Erma Clark. Daddy brought Keith Brown out & worked on boat. I brought Mike Leonard out with me. Took petunias to Beringers & then over to pick up Kathy at Clarks. TV & popcorn. Bed 11:30

Friday, June 3, 1955
30 corsages for Prom – judged specimens at our Club Flower Show at Mrs. Kinters. Wedding appointment with Hords. Did small wedding for tomorrow AM. Home at 6:00 – cleaned up – to school for theatre party for Eighth Grade 10% – Bucyrus movie then to Clarks. I took kids.

Thursday, June 2, 1955
In at 8:00 to deliver Nicolosi wedding. Then to Gegenheimers office for final settlement of his* estate. His fee was $100 (knocked of $144) Paid Lockwood 155 on window. Balance of $100. Bought 3 wash-dresses at Klines $10. Mr. & Mrs. Brothers here to bu iris. Also Milan & Alice Gorby – gave them gobs. Watered.

In at 9:30 to meet Martha & Sue Swink at church to finish wedding plans. Worked all PM on Nicolosi wedding. Home at 8:00 did aisle cloth & other ironing. Bed 11:00 Dead.

Gardened AM – transplanted some iris. In at 1:30 for Day Camp Conference with Mary Ran Fritz. Phyllis Kile & Kathy down to see Darrell Fyffe at hospital. Home at 6. David stayed in. Cool this AM 43. Furnace on tonight.
