At shop. Kids in with Mr. Johnson. Visited Mary & Rocky then to Helen Romine for Kathy a permanent. I visted Dad & Cora Romine for an hour. They have new T.V. Home about 11:00.

Monday, October 24, 1955
In to work at noon. 2 wedding appointments. To Girl Scout Council meeting at Mt. Gilead. Dinner. Elected First V.P. for next year & presented 15 year pin. Pump not working right.

Sunday, October 23, 1955
Nutting across river with David A.M. Keith Brown & Dick Eicher out. To Camp Young at 2:00 to put camp awasy. Hutchmans & Thomas’s. TV tonight. Bed 10:00 Beautiful day.

Saturday, October 22, 1955
30 kids, 2 mothers & Mrs. Edna Kennedy from 2 to 6. River trips, hikes on both sides & wiener roast. Beautiful day. Temp 60+. First killing frost last night tho. Kathy to class party at Phyllis Kiles, evening.

Friday, October 21, 1955
Mowed lawn & burned brush. New lawn seeded Sept 1 mowed. In about 5 to Mark Street Festival. Got new pink hat $2.98 & dress for Marilee’s new baby $2.98. To game at Claridon with Mary Jordan, Jim Harris & Marilee. Good game but Claridon wond 14-0. Sloppy Joes at Mary’s after. Roger too.

Felt lousy. Perry & Hazel stopped for visit around 12:00. Jim Weaver out & finished taking frames off porch. Bill for stoop & window $144.

Roger helped me clean house for Neighborhood Scout meeting tonight. 16 here. Got Mildred Gorby’s troop set. Wilda Cunningham may buy my Montgomery Ward refrigerator $50.

In to work in P.M. Should have gone to Burroughs Club but typed new batch of versses & sent out 8. Bed at 2:00 AM.

Still headachey. Rainy. Made popcorn balls & fudge in P.M. Kathy to Marion after MYF without telling me.
