Kids in with me for day. Picked Keith up on way home. Christmas wished out of catalog. Ironed & watched TV. Popcorn. Bed 11:15.

Sunday, December 4, 1955
Cleaned house. Paul & Helen Williams out to drill holes in nuts. Swishers, Durhams, Wagners, Browns & Coopers here for Advent Carols. Used new books Bernard did for first time. They are wonderful. Mrs. Wagner played. Coopers brought real sleigh bells. Warm all day but 30 now.

Thursday, December 1, 1955
Mrs. O’Connell & Mrs. Holdridge up to help me get things ready for tomorrow & take them to Erma Hutchmans. Mrs. Walton from Upper Sandusky in & bought $20 Christmas gadgets! Home at 6:00 – TV. Kathy to MYF cabinet meeting. Beed 11:00. Got rest of invitations to Advent Candles ready. David skated on river.

Friday, December 2, 1955
Load of greens etc to Erma Hutchmans. 34 there for workshop. Sole $76.50 & gave club 10%. To shop at 4:00 & gang from Upper Sandusky in. David in for dental appointment. At mother’s for supper & worked late in shop. Home about 9:00. Kathy to basketball game with Durhams. They gave us a cleaned rabbit.

Tuesday, November 29, 1955
At shop till noon – Had hair cut washed & set. Back to shop packed for talk tonight. To Girl Scout Office for final selection of Senior Scout for Roundup. Pat Hartle got it. Pictures by Star Photopgrapher. To Federation Home for Christmas Program for Art Department. $10. Seemed to enjoy me. Home 11:00.

Wednesday, November 30, 1955
Took rest of copy to Bernard to do Christmas Carol Books. At shop all day. Packed for talk at Upper Sandusky Green THumb Garden Club Program. Mrs. Deyson & Mrs. Neidhart along. Wonderful dinner. About 70. Sold $20 stuff. Home about 11:30.

Monday, November 28, 1955
At shop from 10 till 6 – unpacking Christmas stuff etc. Skipped Girl Scount Board Meeting & finished washing & ironed until 11:00.
Low of 7 high of 20. David ice skating down at corner. River freezing.

Sunday, November 27, 1955 First Sunday of Advent
Cleaned house & rearranged living room. Mother & daddy out PM to help. Daddy fixed picnic table for dog house. Old gang in full force. Jordans (11) & kids – Brenda Augenstein starts 3rd generation. Harris (4) – Staffords (4) – Browns (4) – Brooks (4) – Rockwells (3) – us – made 33. Mary Jordan brought candies etc.

Saturday, November 26, 1955
In at 7:45 to finish wedding. Dubbed at shop all day – 14 corsages & pricing Christmas things.

Friday, November 25, 1955
To Camp Creswell E of Mt. Gilead as part of “Selections Committee” to choose 1 of 8 girls to Girl Scount Senior Roundup next July. Sunny but cold! To shop at 4:00 & worked on McDonough wedding for tomorrow. Home at 8:00. TV.
